The Theatre, The Theatre

The Theatre, The Theatre

The Theatre,
The Theatre

I admit that I led a double life – helping create the sets, and then entertaining upon them.

“How can I help?” has been a powerful, door-opening phrase. After rehearsal, I could either go home or stay and get my hands dirty. And what does the new how-can-I-helper do? I primed a lot of flats and cleaned a LOT of brushes. Let me teach you how to clean a brush…

That primer left its mark on me in more ways than one. Stagecraft became my passion, but after I cleaned off the visible stains I was sure the stage needed something else on it. Me!

Ensemble or lead, I had a blast entertaining and I hope you’ll enjoy a few minutes with some of the characters I had the good fortune to become.
